Jonny Hornberger

From an early age, Jonny understood the importance of law and advocacy. He could often be found in the back row of a courtroom listening to his father, a prominent Trial Attorney, cross-examining witnesses and deliver closing arguments. This has instilled in him the passion and desire to vigorously advocate on behalf of his clients. Jonny is a natural competitor and relentlessly seeks justice for those who have been injured and mistreated by big insurance companies.

Jonny was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and earned his B.A. in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University. While at Loyola Marymount, Jonny was a two-time West Coast Conference champion in the 100 meter dash for the Varsity Track team and a proud member of Loyola Rugby. Jonny was also a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and nominated to the position of Secretary during his senior year. He earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School’s accelerated two-year program and was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, earning semi-finalist honors at the ABA Labor and Employment Trial Advocacy Competition in 2015.

Prior to Joining Carpenter, Zuckerman & Rowley, Jonny worked as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Justice Jeffrey W. Johnson at the California Court of Appeal for the Second District in Downtown Los Angeles. He is a member of both the California State Bar as well as the Central District of California Bar Association. He currently resides with his wife in Manhattan Beach, CA and enjoys surfing, reading, and rooting for his hometown L.A. Rams.
