Carey Wood was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from University of California, Berkeley, with a major in cultural anthropology. She earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law where she was recognized on the Dean’s list. During her time at Pepperdine, Ms. Wood served as an editor on the National Association of Administrative Law Journal and a member of the environmental and employment law associations.
Prior to joining the Carpenter, Zuckerman & Rowley, Carey worked consistently as an advocate for injured individuals in various areas of civil litigation, starting as a legal assistant before law school. Most recently, Carey worked at a large plaintiff’s employment law firm where she was recognized as the “MVP litigation attorney.” Carey enjoys getting to know her clients and understanding their stories through individualized attention and communication, and representing them with strong and skillful advocacy. Carey lives in Marina Del Rey, CA to be close to the water and beach yoga! Carey is admitted to practice law in California state courts and the Central District of California.
