The law firm of Carpenter, Zuckerman & Rowley, LLP is proud to announce that attorneys Candice S. Klein and Robert Ounjian have been made partners at the firm. Both members have a history of success with the firm and both received their law degrees from Southwestern Law School.
Candice Klein recently celebrated her 15th anniversary of working with the law firm, as well as the birth of her first child. Over the years, she has won numerous headline-making trials, including a recent decision that found $282,000 for a Food 4 Less slip-and-fall victim in April 2012. Other victories include a $2,250,000 verdict for a heavily disputed auto accident case that caused a victim to suffer major back injuries and a $669,000 trial verdict for the victim of a Chatsworth truck-pedestrian collision.
Beyond the courtroom, Attorney Klein is a member of the Board of Directors at Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities, helping to support the needy throughout Los Angeles. She has also participated with the firm in charity events, including the Revlon Run/Walk for Women.
Robert Ounjian has been a member of CZR since 2009 and in his time with the firm, he has found high profile success. Victories include participation in the record-setting $74,525,000 victory for the family of child who suffered cerebral palsy during birth at the Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in 2009, as well as a $1,500,000 settlement in a Los Angeles motorcycle injury accidentand a $160,000 recovery for the victim of an underinsured driver crash in El Monte. This record of success in such as short amount of time has lead Mr. Ounjian to be included in the list of 2012 Southern California Rising Stars by Super Lawyers.
